Sridevi was offered the leading role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Darr’ but she rejected the offer because she was repeatedly playing similar kinds of roles. The role was later played by Juhi Chawla.
5- Beta
Beta is one of the most popular films and legendary actress Sridevi was offered a role in that movie but she rejected it because she felt that she was already doing several films with Anil Kapoor. Later the role was given to Madhuri Dixit. Madhuri even won a Filmfare award in the Best Actress category for her performance in the film.
6- Ajooba
The makers of Ajooba wanted to pair Sridevi opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the movie. But the maker’s budget was struggling to bring both the superstars together and Sridevi was rejecting a lot of roles opposite Amitabh for not getting an equal amount of screen presence. The role was later played by Dimple Kapadia.
