When it comes to Bollywood – quite a lot! Did you know some celebrities have changed their names to make their mark in the industry?

On that note, here’s a fun fact for you – did you know Sidharth Malhotra has now worked with TWO ALIAs in Bollywood? One is, of course, our cute and beloved Alia Bhatt (for SOTY and Kapoor and Sons). The duo had dated for some time and parted ways – but no hard feelings were involved!
And the other is Kiara Advani. That’s right. Kiara’s real name is Alia Advani. In an interview, she had revealed – “Alia is my first name. Salman Khan suggested me to change it because of Alia Bhatt – there can’t be two actresses with the same name in Bollywood.”
We gotta say though – like her namesake Alia Bhatt, Alia Advani too has carved her niche in Bollywood as Kiara. The talented actress will next be seen in ‘Shershaah’ (playing Dimple Cheema) opposite rumoured beau Sidharth Malhotra. The biopic, based on Param Vir Chakra awardee and Kargil War Hero Vikram Batra, is slated for 12th August release on Amazon Prime Video.
Fans are extremely excited to see how their off-screen romance translates onscreen!
