Telugu heartthrob Vijay Devarakonda is all set for his big-ticket Bollywood debut opposite Ananya Panday.
The duo will be seen together in the upcoming romantic sports film- ‘Liger: Saala Crossbreed’.
Holding a pan-India appeal, this multi-lingual movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
While the movie is slated to hit theatres on September 9, there have been buzzes going around of ‘Liger’ having a direct-to-digital release. According to a social media report, the makers are currently considering a lucrative deal of ₹ 200 crores for its digital release.
However, on Monday, the Telugu hottie, Vijay Devarakonda, has put an end to all the rumours by posting a quirky Tweet. Rubbishing the reports, he said that even Rs 200 Crore is “too little” for the film.
Dismissing the report, the actor took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Too little. I’ll do more in the theatres.”

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, ‘Liger’ is jointly produced by him along with Karan Johar & Apoorva Mehta’s ‘Dharma Productions’ and Charmme Kaur.
Meanwhile, the teaser was set to release in May but was postponed indefinitely due to the deadly second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
