With the nation facing a severe oxygen crisis, Bollywood celebs have been doing their bit in helping to arrange for oxygen cylinders and concentrators.
Recently, Harshvardhan Rane had made headlines after he announced that he would be selling his beloved yellow Royal Enfield Bike in exchange for oxygen concentrators.
The avid biker had told Hindustan Times, “I don’t come from a background where I could just write huge cheques. As of now, at my stage, I only look at things like this. I feel horrible if something is kept next to me, and someone isn’t able to breathe. I was going through this for the past few weeks, and that made me think of letting this motorcycle become oxygen for somebody.”
The Taish actor has now updated that the bike has been sold and he was able to secure 3 oxygen concentrators in Hyderabad, with a few more expected soon. Kudos to Harshvardhan for his selfless act in these trying times!
Harshvardhan will next be starring in a film produced by John Abraham, along with Angira Dhar. It is a slice-of-life film titled ‘Tara vs Bilal’.
