Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on 14th June 2020, and the investigation around his death case is still ongoing.
Quite a few filmmakers have been trying to make movies based on the life and death of the late actor.
However, SSR’s father Krishna Kishore Singh has now moved the Delhi High Court seeking to restrain movies based on his son’s life, as per Bar and Bench report.
In his petition, Sushant’s father has called out a few of the movies – ‘Nyay: The Justice’, ‘Suicide or Murder: A star was lost’, ‘Shashank’. K.K Singh claimed that these filmmakers were trying to encash this opportunity for ulterior motives. He also said that no one had obtained his permission or consent.

The plea reads – “Any production, or depiction of the private life of Sushant Singh Rajput is a blatant and willful breach of fundamental right to privacy which cannot be taken away without the prior approval of his legal heir”
2 Crores In Damages!
K.K Singh has also sought over Rs 2 crores as damages from the filmmakers for “loss of reputation, mental trauma and harassment”! Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri has issued notice to the filmmakers and sought their stand by May 24 on the suit.
