Pratik Gandhi has been riding high on the success of his performance in ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’.
The recently released Disney +Hotstar movie ‘The Big Bull’ starring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead is also inspired by the life of Harshad Mehta.
Unfortunately, Abhishek has been on the receiving end of netizens’ trolling as they feel the standard set by Pratik’s ‘Scam 1992’ series will never be matched. While Abhishek has been responding to the harsh criticism in good humour on Twitter, Pratik too has reacted to the comparison.
Pratik told IANS – “There can’t be competition between actors. Had it been products, there would have been competition. If I was a biscuit or a soap, there would be competition.”
He continued further, “I am a human being. How can two people, looking so different and having distinct types of acting, be compared? I don’t take the pressure that your next thing has to be bigger than the previous one.”
Well said, Pratik! Talking about his upcoming Bollywood projects – he will be seen in movies like Ravan Leela and Atithi Bhooto Bhava.
