The Mohit Suri’s 2014 directorial ‘Ek Villain’ made a lot of buzz at the time of its release and is still popular for its songs.
However, did you know who was the first choice for Ek villain?
Before locking Sidharth Malhotra for the role, makers had offered the role to none other than Arjun Kapoor.
The makers of the film wanted to cast Arjun because he had done a sort of grey character in his previous film Aurangzeb. The movie did not do well at the Box Office but Arjun was highly appreciated for his performance.
However, Arjun was not keen on being a part of the movie because he did not want to second fiddle to Riteish Deshmukh, who had the attention-grabbing role. He was of the opinion that Riteish would walk away with the better scenes in the film and then later, the film was offered to Sidharth.
