The film industry lost a precious gem last year, after the tragic demise of Irrfan Khan on 29th April.
However, looks like the late actor’s son Babil Khan is following in his father’s footsteps and will be continuing his legacy.
Babil had previously worked as a camera assistant on his father’s rom-com ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’. Contrary to other star kid debuts, he is opting for an OTT project for his entry into B-Town!
Babil Khan’s Debut Film Is…?
As per this Peeping Moon report, Irrfan’s son has now bagged the lead role in the Netflix film ‘Qala’. It is reportedly a supernatural movie, directed by Anvita Dutt and backed by Anushka Sharma’s production house Clean Slate Filmz.
Babil’s leading lady is the talented Bulbbul actress Tripti Dimri and the project will also be featuring Swastika Mukherjee prominently. The shooting for ‘Qala’ has already started and the 1st schedule was wrapped up in Gulmarg today.
We cannot wait to see how Babil performs! All the best to the young actor…
