6. Bhagwan Dada
Bhagwan Abji Pandav, popularly known as Bhagwan Dada was a successful actor, director, and writer in Hindi cinema. But after a series of flops, he went bankrupt and had to sell his 25-bedroom lavish house in Juhu and 7 swanky cars. Despite earning everything he ended up living in a ‘chawl’ in Mumbai. In 2002, poverty-stricken Bhagwan Dada died at the age of 84.
7. Bharat Bhushan
Another legendary actor, who acted in cult movies like ‘Baiju Bawra’, ‘Chitralekha’, Bharat Bhushan died pennilessly. He was one of the highest-paid actors at his time and starred opposite Madhubala and Nutan. His gambling addiction took away his all wealth him and he had to move in a chawl.
