Undoubtedly, Akshay Kumar is one of the most successful actors in Bollywood right now.
His journey to stardom hasn’t been a bed of roses.
Not many people know that before becoming an actor, Akshay Kumar did a couple of odd-jobs in Bangkok.
As per a Koimoi report, the ‘Airlift’ actor worked as a waiter at a food stall while he was in Bangkok. Akshay described it as one of his ‘toughest’ phases of life.
“I used to end up with less tips, but many Thai girls used to give me a peck on the cheek instead. I used to enjoy that,” he revealed.
Not only that Akshay got interested in martial arts in Bangkok and learnt the skills there. After coming back to Mumbai, Aksay started teaching martial art to students in the city.
Before Bollywood happened, Kumar also worked as a background dancer in several Hindi films. Later the Khiladi Kumar made his acting debut as a lead in ‘Saugandh’, which was released in 1991.
