Rhea Chakraborty has been entangled in controversy ever since the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
She had been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in relation to the drug angle of the case and had spent a month in jail.
However, on October 7 last year, the Bombay High Court had granted her bail and directed her to deposit a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh. The High Court had also ordered her to deposit her passport with the NCB and not leave the country without the permission of the special NDPS court.
After her bail, she was also told to visit the NCB office at 11 am on the first day of every month for next six months. As per India Today report, now the Narcotics Control Bureau has moved the Supreme Court challenging the bail granted to Rhea by Bombay High Court!
The anti-drugs agency’s plea will be heard by a bench of Chief Justice SA Bobde and Justices AS Bopanna and V Ramasubramanian on March 18.
On the other hand, talking about Rhea’s presence in the film industry – it appears that she may have been dropped from her upcoming movie ‘Chehre’ since she is missing from the posters and teaser.
