Aditya Dhar made his Bollywood debut with the Vicky Kaushal starrer URI: The Surgical Strike, bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala.
After the success of Uri, Aditya and Ronnie came together for a mythological super hero film, Ashwatthama.
Now, Pinkvilla has reported that Ronnie and Aditya have united once again after Ashwatthama for their next production which will feature Pratik Gandhi alongside Yami Gautam in the lead.
A source says “It’s a script developed by Aditya, however, he is going to be completely busy with a mythological superhero film, The Immortal Ashwatthama, for the next two years, and hence, he decided to creatively produce the film with Ronnie, instead of directing it.”
The makers are in advanced talks with the current digital sensation, Pratik Gandhi for the lead alongside Yami Gautam as the female lead.
“The story demands a fresh pairing. The team is exploring their new leads in Yami and Pratik – both of them have loved the script, and verbally agreed to come on board, however, the paperwork is yet to be done. If all goes as planned, the film will go on floors in the second half of 2021,” the source added.
On the work front, Aditya Dhar is currently working on the pre-production of his The Immortal Ashwatthama. The film features Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal.
