There is one good news for all the Sidharth Malhotra & Kiara Advani fans out there.
The rumored couple starrer much-awaited movie ‘Shershaah’ finally gets a release date.
Based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC), ‘Shershaah’ is all set to hit the theatres on 2nd July 2021.
Making the announcement, producer Karan Johar wrote, “The larger than life untold true story of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) is ready to be unravelled on the big screens. We’re honoured to be showing this journey – #Shershaah in cinemas on 2nd July, 2021, starring Sidharth Malhotra & Kiara Advani. Directed by Vishnu Varadhan. See you at the movies!”
Directed by Vishnuvardhan, this movie pays tribute to late captain Vikram Batra, an Indian Army officer who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery during the 1999 Kargil war.
‘Shaershaah’ was earlier scheduled to release in theatres on July 3, 2020, but got delayed due to Covid-19.
