After the massive box-office collection of ‘Kabir Singh’, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has bagged his second Bollywood project.
Sandeep will be directing the ‘Sanju’ actor Ranbir Kapoor for his upcoming gangster drama.
Previously titled ‘Devil’, RK-Sandeep’s much-awaited movie has reportedly undergone a change.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the makers have decided to change the title of this movie from ‘Devil’ to ‘Animal’. Wondering why the change in title? Well, it has a Salman Khan connection.
The title ‘Devil’ has been registered with the producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who is planning to use this title for the sequel of Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’, has reportedly declined the request to part with the title rights.
In the first part of this Salman Khan-Jacqueline Fernandez starrer, Salman’s character used the pseudonym of Devil while taking on his vigilante actions.
Last week, Ranbir reportedly met his director Sandeep and the producers Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani to discuss the script of this rustic gangster movie.
However, this movie was supposedly scheduled to go on floors after Ranbir completes the shoot of his two other highly anticipated movies- ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Shamshra’.
