Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in Bollywood with back-to-back movie releases.
Despite having an exceptional year to his movie release, the actor has multiple interesting projects in his kitty.
Reportedly, Akshay’s market value has been in the range of Rs 110-Rs 120 crores for every film that he has signed during the lockdown.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the actor has slashed down his ‘Bachchan Pandey’ fees for his dear friend-filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala.
The source revealed, “Akshay and Sajid go down a long way and their friendship has stood the test of times from the 1990s. While Akshay’s market value per film is around Rs 110 to Rs 120 crore, he couldn’t say a no to Sajid’s request to cut down on the fees for Bachchan Pandey considering the pandemic situation.”
“The two finally zeroed in on Rs 99 crore as the acting fees for Akshay,” the source further revealed. He also added that both consider ‘9‘ as their lucky numbers too!
Another ‘Bachchan Pandey’ actor Arshad Wasi, keeping the Covid-19 crisis in mind, has also negotiated his price from Rs. 4 crores to Rs. 2.5 crores.
Reportedly, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ is the remake of a south Indian blockbuster movie ‘Jigarthanda’.
This Farhad Samji directorial also features Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi in key roles.
