Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to welcome her second child with actor-Pataudi Nawab Saif Ali Khan in 2021.
After Kareena’s firstborn 3-year-old Taimur, fans can’t wait to know the name that the royal couple has decided for their soon-to-be-born child.
In her chat show ‘What Women Want’ Season 3, Kareena spoke to Neha Dhupia and spilled the beans about her second child’s name. She also revealed that she and Saif are still haunted by their first child Taimur’s name controversy.
Talking to Neha about naming her second child, Kareena said, “After the whole controversy of Taimur, both Saif and I have not even thought about it. We’re like going to leave it last minute and then spring a surprise.”
Neha, then, suggested she should hold a poll on social media to decide the name, Kareena refused and responded with, “I’m gonna tackle this right at the end.”
When Saif announced the birth of Taimur in 2016, it created a controversy on social media, for which they received severe backlash and criticism. Some believed that Saif shouldn’t have named his son after ‘Timur’, a Turkish ruler who invaded India.
Addressing this in 2017, Saif had revealed that he thought about changing Taimur’s name because he was afraid it would make him unpopular. However, Kareena was against it.
