Our ‘Desi Girl’ Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s Hollywood career has been moving upwards and onwards only.
Priyanka shared some pics on her social media as she started prepping for her upcoming Hollywood biggie– ‘Text For You’.
This Jim Strouse directorial romantic drama is a remake of the German film titled ‘SMS Fur Dich’ which was based on a novel by Sofie Cramer. Priyanka will be playing a pivotal role in the movie alongside music icon Celine Dion and ‘Outlander’ star Sam Heughan.
The 38-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a picture of herself, where she is getting her hair and nails done for ‘Text For You’.”Prep.. starting Text For You on Friday,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.
The ‘Mary Kom’ actor also revealed that she will start shooting for this film from Friday.
Reportedly, the shoot is underway in the UK and will complete in the U.S. in 2021.
Steve Oram, along with Russell Tovey, Omid Djalili, and few other actors have joined Priyanka, Sam, and 5-time ‘Grammy Award’ winner Celine Dion for this romantic drama.
The plot revolves around a woman who, to ease the pain after tragically losing her fiancé, starts to send romantic texts to his old cell.
It turns out the phone number has been reassigned to a man across town suffering from similar heartbreak. The two meet and feel an undeniable connection, but can’t seem to leave the past behind.
Director Jim Strouse has also written the script, which Lauryn Kahnis will be re-writing. ‘Text For You’ is being bankrolled by Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Esther Hornstein.
Meanwhile, on the work front, PC has ‘The White Tiger’ and ‘We Can Be Heroes’ in her kitty. Both movies will be releasing on Netflix.
