Actress Pooja Hegde is a busy woman as she jumps from shoot to shoot. Currently working on her film ‘Radhe Shyam’ in Italy with Prabhas, the actress is to take her work for Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus on floors the next month.
Cirkus also stars Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma.
Talking about her next with Rohit Shetty, as per a report, Pooja Hegde confessed her love for his films. She revealed that her father and she watched ‘Simmba’ together, and they were shooting at Ajay Devgn’s entry. The actress also stated that she had first met Rohit at a film city in Hyderabad a few years ago and this offer came her way out of the blue.
Pooja also shares an interesting detail about the film. She says that it will be a complete masala film and that ‘Cirkus’ will be Rohit Shetty’s version rather than an adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘The Comedy of Errors’. She also added that they have a complimentary dose of Ranveer’s energy on set.
Pooja also spoke on her acting career and mentioned how the failure of her debut film ‘Mohenjo Daro’ co-starring Hrithik Roshan was heartbreaking for her. However, eventually, South films came along, and work attracted more work. Pooja stated that she held off signing Hindi films because she needed a sturdy second movie.
