The ‘drug angle’ in SSR Case is under the scanner after Rhea Chakraborty’s chats were revealed by ED, with Narcotics Control Bureau probing it as well.
Recently, SSR’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a series of tweets showing screenshots of conversations where Rhea, Showik and members of SSR’s house staff, allegedly discussed about drugs from ‘doobie’ to ‘AK47’ and ‘blueberry kush’.
Sharing the screenshots of drug chats, Shweta captioned her post – “What are we to conclude?? #ArrestCulpritsOfSSR”
She also shared screenshots from a WhatsApp group named “NIFW”. The group members include names like Aayush SSR, Anandi SSR, Siddharth Pithani SSR, Rhea and others. She captioned it – “What was going on?”
While most of the people involved in these chats can be identified by their names, the identity of the mobile owner remains a mystery.
Shweta’s posts come after Rhea’s statement in her recent interview that Sushant used to smoke marijuana and she had tried her best to get him to stop.
Earlier, ED had intimated the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) about the alleged drug-linked chats in SSR case, following which the anti-narcotics agency also stepped in and registered a case.
After Gaurav Arya’s name cropped in Rhea Chakraborty’s ‘drug chats’, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) placed a notice at Gaurav Arya’s hotel, The Tamarind in Anjuna, Goa, summoning him to appear before the agency before August 31.
Meanwhile, Rhea’s lawyer had stated – “Rhea has never consumed drugs in her life ever. She is ready for a blood test.”
As per India Today report, Jaya Saha meanwhile said that she never supplied CBD oil to Sushant Singh Rajput or Rhea Chakraborty.
In her statement, Jaya Saha said, “Sushant had contacted and informed me that he suffered from depression. I suggested him to take the CBD oil with tea and coffee for relaxation.” Saha told the ED that the oil she suggested was completely legal and easily available on shopping portals.
She added, “I knew about the oil as I also suffered from depression and used the oil. It helped me calming my mind and relax. It controlled my anxiety disorders.”
