Kubbra Sait has now come our in support of Rhea Chakraborty as she spoke exclusively to DNA about the alleged ‘media trial’ in Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
She also spoke about how no one raises their voices when television actors pass away by suicide and how each year around a million people die by the same.

She kicked off saying, “I am not forming an opinion, rather asking, how much do these unfortunate deaths (WHO estimates that each year around 1 million people die from suicide, which represents 1 death every 40 seconds globally) get attention from the media as a Sushant Singh case gets? I am not looking at this case in the perspective of my colleague losing his life, which is of course grieving, but at the same time a Marathi television actor and another TV actor passes away and nobody spoke about that, why?“
Sait also goes on to say that all this is just a witch hunt against Rhea Chakraborty. She questions, “What will happen if Rhea is proven innocent? What happens tomorrow if she has no link in this case?“
Rhea’s WhatsApp chats with Mahesh Bhatt surfaced causing a ruckus as Rhea was seen telling Mahesh ‘I love you’ in the chat. Remarking at that incident Kubbra says, “How can saying ‘I love you’ to somebody become a crime. How can it become part of media trial?” She also adds that relationships have evolved over the years and that in today’s times we don’t just say ‘I love you’ to someone we are in love or in a relationship with.
Sait even added that the CBI must be left alone to do the investigation so as to figure out the truth. “Let them work it out. Let them get back to you.”

Director Ram Gopal Varma also came out in support of Chakraborty saying that she needs to be given a fair hearing. “If u don’t support someone being unfairly hunted, no one is going to support when you are unfairly hunted ..JUST GIVE HER A FAIR HEARING,” he tweeted.
RGV also said – “This interview is the best thing @Tweet2Rhea did and should continue to do non stop ..Only way to check the lies of fake media is by putting out the truth in the same speed as them Nothing is more dangerous than silence in today’s times #JusticeForRhea”
