Sushant Singh Rajput’s family has now shared a 9 -page long, hard-hitting letter, entirely written in Hindi. They have alleged that they are being threatened and a campaign is on to slander their reputation.
Titled ‘Sushant Ka Parivar’ this long statement talks about the family’s journey, about Sushant and his sisters, the untimely demise of their mother and Sushant’s rise in the film industry. Commenting on how expensive lawyers are being hired in the case, the letter wondered if they will ‘murder’ justice.
The letter also took a dig at so-called friends and relatives who have been giving statements to the media claiming they were close to SSR. Without naming anyone, the family has hinted at how Sushant Singh Rajput was ‘trapped by crooks’ and ‘brutally murdered’ and how his case was made into a farce and his investigation was botched up.
The statement also talks about how the family were not even given the time to even mourn him as there were attempts to brand their son as a ‘mental patient’, malign his memory and how photos of his body were exhibited all over.
Calling the investigation by Mumbai Police ‘only for optics’ where they tried to implicate a ‘few rich privileged people’, the letter also questioned why no steps were taken when the family approached the cops to take preventive action.
The family said that the four sisters and the father are now being ‘threatened’ about being taught a lesson. And that there is a campaign to slander the reputation of family members one by one and malign the memory of the late actor.
