All sorts of speculations have gone rife in the media, in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Media reports suggesting that Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aaditya Thackeray was present at a party at Sushant’s house the day before he died, had also surfaced.
Aaditya Thackeray took to Twitter to release a statement – denying any connection with Sushant’s case. He stated it was nothing but dirty politics and mudslinging. He also added that having friends in Bollywood is not a crime.
“Those who are pricked by the success and popularity of the Maharashtra government have started dirty politics over the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Unnecessary mud slinging on me and the Thackeray family. This is nothing but dirty politics arisen out of frustration.” said Aaditya Thackeray
Even actor Dino Morea denied hosting Sushant at a house party on June 13 and said he had no connection to the case.
He tweeted – “There was never any such gathering at my residence, pls get your facts right before making these allegations. DO NOT drag my name into this as I have no connection whatsoever with this.”
The actor’s tweet was to offer clarification as BJP MP Narayan Rane was telling the media that Dino had played host to Sushant and a “politician” at a party he organised at his house on June 13, the day before Sushant’s death.
