Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy has been one of the most awaited movie since last year. This Ayan Mukherji directorial was paused in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 outbreak and the fans have been waiting to hear an update on this movie.
A report by Mid-day suggests that the cast and crew of Brahmastra will get back to work in October and work double shifts to complete the schedule in a studio in Film City, Goregaon, Mumbai. 26 days shooting of Brahmastra is still pending and there are plans to wrap up the shoot by December 2020. A source says “If the crisis is relatively under control, and things go as planned, the film will go back on floors in October. Ayan has broken down the shoot into two shifts — 9 am to 2 pm, followed by another from 4 pm to 9 pm. There will be two separate minimal crews for the stints, with each unit adhering to on-set safety guidelines.”
Karan Johar, the producer of Brahmastra has planned a June 2021 release. This movie also stars Shahrukh Khan in a cameo role.
