2020 has dealt another staggering blow to Bollywood! 71-year-old veteran Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away on Friday, 3 July 2020 after having a cardiac arrest. She had been admitted to Bandra’s Guru Nanak Hospital on 20 June after complaining of breathlessness.
While she was in ICU, she was reportedly recovering well and had even tested negative for Covid-19. Suffering from diabetes and other age-related ailments, her health took a turn for the worst and she passed away at 1.52 am on Friday.
Her last rites will be conducted at Malvani in Malad. Saroj Khan is survived by her husband B. Sohanlal, son Hamid Khan and daughters Hina Khan and Sukyna Khan.
The three-time National Award winner’s contribution to Bollywood has been legendary, be it Dola Re, Ek Do Teen, Dhak Dhak Karne Laga, or Chane Ke Khet Mein! She had last choreographed for Madhuri Dixit in Kalank for Tabah Ho Gaye.
