The soulful voice behind multiple hit songs, KK (Krishnakumar Kunnath), breathed his last shortly after his concert in Kolkata last night (May 31).
The 53-year-old singer had allegedly suffered a heart attack and was brought dead at Kolkata’s CMRI hospital.
KK has recorded songs in multiple languages like Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Marathi.
The late singer, who touched many hearts with his soulful singing, had once revealed that he refused to sing at wedding functions, even if he was offered a whopping price for it.

Back in 2008, the Pal singer had told HT –
“Yes. I refuse to sing at wedding functions even if I’m offered ₹1 crore.”
Further talking about it, KK had added, “Oh please.. let that be. I can’t act for peanuts. Years ago, I was offered a film but I refused point-blank.”
