Looks like Salman Khan, who backed Sooraj’s debut film, is once again stepping in to save his career. As per Peeping Moon, the Superstar has decided to produce another film for Sooraj – the Hindi remake of the upcoming 2022 romantic, Telugu film Gurthunda Seethakalam.
Gurthunda Seethakalam stars Satyadev Kancharana and Tamannaah Bhatia. Set against an urban backdrop, it’s about a middle-aged software employee who has endured several heartbreaks in his quest to find true love.
Coming to the Hindi adaptation, it is reportedly titled Baarish. Sooraj will allegedly be romancing THREE heroines with Jacqueline Fernandez being top contender for the lead role. Director of the original – Nagashekhar will be adapting the Hindi remake as well. The project is expected to commence in April-May 2022.
