Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was granted bail after spending 3 weeks in jail following his arrest in a drug case.
One of his 14 bail conditions was that he had to mark his attendance every Friday at the Narcotics Control Bureau’s office in Mumbai.
His legal team had filed a plea to allow for modification of the mandatory Friday appearance condition. As per Indian Express, his counsel argued that ever since the probe was transferred to Special Investigation Team in Delhi, his weekly presence at NCB’s office in Mumbai might not be required as he was not being interrogated anymore.
Bombay High Court heard his case and allowed him to be exempted from weekly attendance at NCB but Aryan still has to appear when summoned. The court said that the star kid need not appear every Friday but he will have to co-operate and appear at the Special Investigation Team’s Delhi office if he’s called for questioning, after being given a 72-hour prior notice.
The court further said that before leaving Mumbai, Aryan will have to inform the investigating officer and provide an itinerary.
