1) Rejected Hollywood Role
The late actor had once rejected the famous Oscar-winning Hollywood film ‘Lawrence of Arabia’. He was offered the role of ‘Sharif-al-Bin-l-Kharish’ but he declined saying, “ I felt I did not have to go to Hollywood to prove or satisfy myself.”
2) Script Writer First
Before ruling Bollywood with his mesmerizing acting, Dilip saab was a scriptwriter at Bombay Talkies in 1942.
He has also written the 1961 Indian crime drama film Gunga Jumna.
