Kartik Aaryan has been in the news lately for reportedly being ousted from various big Bollywood projects.
However, the Punchnama boy is now ready to impress his fans with his 2016 short film Silvat.
Directed by Tanuja Chandra and written by Faraz Arif Ansari, Silvat is all about the ‘unspoken, unanswered and unfulfilled love’. The story revolves around a woman named Noor (Meher Mistry), whose husband works in the Middle East and has not visited her in years. In wait for her husband, Noor falls in love with a Muslim boy, Anwar (Kartik).
You can watch this beautiful short film now on Zee 5. On Friday, Kartik took to Instagram to share the trailer and captioned it as, “Silvat. Forever grateful to @tanuja__chandra ma`am for this amazing experience.”
For the unversed, the film was released under Zeal For Unity festival in 2016. Interestingly, Kartik shot for this during his initial days, when he was reportedly filming Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2.
