Storyline:
Kho Gaye Hum Kahan follows 3 confused-with-life best friends – Imaad (Siddhant), Ahana (Ananya) and Neil (Adarsh).
The rich, handsome Imaad seems to have it all and is trying to build his career as a stand-up comedian. Behind this humorous facade lies a deep, festering wound from the past. He is a Tinder and sex addict, struggling to hold onto real intimacy in his life. Dating a much older woman (Kalki) brings some refreshing change in his perspective but what if he sabotages it?
Ahana is a smart, MBA grad who feels stuck in her corporate job and decides to quit it to help build her friend’s fitness business. She is the brains of the trio and though she seems put together on the outside – she’s hung up on her callous ex. Trying to project a happy, glam life … to regain his validation. She shares a platonic relationship with Imaad as his best friend and roommate.
Neil is a gym rat who’s dating an influencer, who won’t ever acknowledge their relationship. Trying to get out of the middle-class hustle life, he’s obsessed with the brands and his online image.

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan Movie Review:
Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is a pretty slow burn film but it takes a genuinely sincere, honest look at our perpetually online, confusing world.
It is aesthetically very pleasing, urban and glam. Yet it never feels OTT and the vibe remains understated throughout. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan draws you in with its languorous pace that still manages to keep you engaged. The characters may seem surface-level stereotypes at first but they unravel to reveal hidden layers.
Kho Gaye Hum Kahan Movie Review:
Kho Gaya Hum Kahan seems tailor-made for the lost Gen-Z gang. From the influencer mania, the toxic cancel culture, the constant chasing after validation, to the loneliness that still permeates our hyper-online world, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan explores it all beautifully.
Thankfully, there is no unnecessary love triangle or romance inserted into the dynamic of the main trio – the makers respect the platonic relationship of these best friends. The soundtrack is pleasant and complements the mood overall.
Kho Gaye Hum Kahan Movie Review:
Adarsh Gourav portrays the jealousy, frustration and discontent of his character quite well. His physical transformation for the role is commendable as well. He doesn’t miss a beat in the emotional scenes.
Siddhant Chaturvedi gets a layered character to play and does justice to it for the most part – switching on the charm and goofiness, yet transitioning into vulnerability when required.
Ananya Panday gives a natural, convincing performance and comes into her own as Ahana. The character she plays is extremely relatable and Ananya fits into the mold perfectly and brings her A-game.
Hit Or Miss:
While Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is not as upbeat as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara or Dil Chahta Hai, it is nevertheless a fun, chill, honest flick about modern-day relationships. Go watch it on Netflix.
