Tiger Shroff finally gets his leading lady for his highly-anticipated movie, Rambo.
Announced in 2017, the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood classic has undergone six years of development.
After getting delayed for various reasons, Tiger Shroff‘s Rambo remake is finally back on track. Pathaan and War fame Siddharth Anand will produce this much-awaited movie, while Rohit Dhawan (Shehzada fame) has been brought on board to direct the project.
According to Pinkvilla, Janhvi Kapoor has been roped in to play the female lead in this action-drama, making her first onscreen collaboration with Tiger.

Janhvi’s character details in Rambo are being kept under wraps at the moment, but she plays a pivotal role crucial to the storyline. Both actors have known each other for years and are excited to finally collaborate professionally.”

The movie is tentatively scheduled to go on floors in January 2024 and will be majorly shot across Europe on a massive never-seen-before scale. Reportedly, the makers are planning to release the film in cinemas somewhere in 2025.
According to reports, Tiger will undergo a rigorous training under the guidance of international experts to do justice to the original and to achieve Siddharth-Rohit’s vision of building a character that represents a true-blue action hero in India.

Reportedly, Tiger will play the role of the “last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed Forces who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land.” He will also be taking training in weaponry and guerrilla warfare.
