NCB’s Bollywood Drug Probe has intensified with high-profile actresses like Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor, as well as executives from Dharma Productions under scanner.
Today, Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash, two executives from Dharma Productions were quizzed by NCB.
NCB Recovers Weed from Dharma Productions’ Kshitij Raviprasad; Interrogates Anubhav Chopra
As per New18, the agency conducted raid at Dharma Productions Director Kshitij Raviprasad’s residence.
Small amount of weed has been recovered by his house. He later joined the drugs probe.
Another employee of KJO’s Dharma Productions, Assistant Director Anubhav Chopra was also interrogated by NCB.
The two Dharma employees were also being grilled by the NCB on the 2019 party video shared by Karan Johar on social media.
Rakul Preet Singh Reportedly Admitted Drugs Chat with Rhea
During interrogation, Rakul reportedly admitted to drug chats with Rhea Chakroborty.
As per DNA report, Rakul confessed about drugs chat with Rhea in 2018. Rakul told NCB officials that Rhea Chakraborty, in 2018, “spoke to her about getting weed which was at Rakul’s house”, however, Rakul has denied consumption of any narcotic substance.
As per ABP News, Rakul has reportedly denied having any contact with the drugs peddlers.
Karishma Prakash Reportedly Revealed Deepika Padukone as ‘Whatsapp Group Admin’ of Alleged Drug Chats
As per Zee News, Deepika’s manager and KWAN employee Karishma Prakash reportedly told NCB that Deepika Padukone was the admin of a WhatsApp chat group related to drugs.
There were only three people in the chat group including Jaya Saha, Karishma Prakash and Deepika Padukone. The WhatsApp group chat on drugs dates back to 2017.
