Recently, reports went viral that Soorarai Pottru actor Suriya has been approached to star as the antagonist in Dhoom’s upcoming sequel.

The reports said that he was in talks with the team and official announcement could be expected soon.
However, as per Pinkvilla report, it turns out that this exciting news is not true as the Tamil actor is busy with other movies, especially Suriya 44. Suriya had previously made a brief cameo appearance in Akshay Kumar-led Sarfira.

Aditya Chopra Might Want Ayan Mukerji To Direct Dhoom 4?
Talking about the director helming this project – reportedly Aditya Chopra was very happy with the footage he saw of War 2 and has verbally discussed his intent of making Dhoom 4 with Ayan Mukerji.
But Ayan is busy with finishing War 2 and has the mammoth Brahmastra franchise, so he hasn’t committed to anything yet.

Meanwhile, Suriya’s next movie is the Tamil fantasy action film Kanguva, directed by Siva, which is set to hit theatres in October 2024.
