She has a host of interesting projects lined up ahead of her. And if the latest reports are to be believed, Tripti is one of the top contenders to play the iconic Parveen Babi in her biopic.
The biopic will reportedly be based on the book Parveen Babi: A Life by Karishma Upadhyay. Tripti’s casting is yet to be officially locked down but as per rumours, she’s at the top of list for the role.

Parveen Babi is hailed to be one of the most iconic and highest-paid actresses of her time. Diagnosed with schizophrenia, the actress died in 2005 at the age of 50 due to multiple organ failure. Her relationships with Kabir Bedi, Danny Denzongpa and Mahesh Bhatt were the talk of the town during that era.

Last seen in Bad Newz, the actress will soon be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan. She’s also starring opposite Rajkummar Rao in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. She has also bagged a Dharma project opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi – Dhadak 2.
Plus, she’ll appear in Animal Park with Ranbir Kapoor.
