Divya Khossla brings her A-Game to Savi. She has completely embodied the desperation and resourcefulness of the character.

Khossla is handed a meaty role as a housewife-turned-jailbreaker, and she does justice to it for the most part. She transitions believably from the vulnerability of a meek spouse to the ferocity required of a determined partner, who is indomitable at heart.

Divya gets the chance to show off her physical prowess with some fight and chase sequences. A good balance of action and emotions on her part.

Harshvardhan Rane is dependable as always, but gets the short end of the stick here. He is effective in the limited screentime he gets. He and Divya share a convincing chemistry as husband-wife and their emotional bond is one of the highlights of the movie.

Anil Kapoor is masterful as ever and manages to catch one by surprise – he has perfect comic timing, charisma and an air of mystery. He has one of the coolest characters in Savi and it is apparent that the veteran actor is having an absolute blast with the role. Anil and Divya’s twisted mentor-mentee relationship keeps things interesting.

That being said, pacing of the 1st half leaves something to be desired in Savi. The songs are rather generic as well.

The movie takes a rather convoluted turn in the middle. However, the film concludes on a high note with a satisfying finale.

Overall, Savi is a pleasantly enjoyable, smartly-crafted thriller, and Divya Khossla manages to show a hitherto unseen side of hers!
