The Sanjay Leela Bhansali series is soon going to make a grand premiere on Netflix. The magnum opus has been made on a humongous budget of over 200 crores!
Heeramandi Synopsis:
Against the backdrop of the British Raj, ‘Heeramandi‘ tells stories of triumph, dignity, female fury, and resilience. It follows a collective of tawaifs, also known as courtesans, who manage a thriving brothel located in Heeramandi, one of the renowned red-light districts in South Asia.

1) Manisha Koirala
The radiant Manisha Koirala stars as the Queen of Heeramandi – Mallikajaan. The veteran actress has been paid 1 crore for this powerful, meaty role.
2) Sonakshi Sinha
The enigmatic Sonakshi Sinha stars as Fareedan! She has already captivated the audience with her sensual performance in the Tilasmi Bahein track. Sonakshi is the highest-paid actress in this lot, with her fee being 2 crores!
3) Aditi Rao Hydari
The beautiful Aditi Rao Hydari stars as Bibbojaan! From the trailer, it is evident that the actress will get to play a complex character that guides revolution in the show.
Aditi has charged in the range of 1 to 1.5 crores for this part.

4) Richa Chadha
The gorgeous Richa Chaddha is playing Lajjo in the show – a layered role, haunted by love and betrayal. Chadha has been paid to the tune of 1 crore.
5) Sharmin Segal
The charming Sharmin Segal stars as Alamzeb – a young heir caught in the crossfire of love and politics. Sharmin’s pay cheque for the series amounts to 35 lakhs.
6) Sanjeeda Shaikh
Sanjeeda Shaikh will be seen as the troubled yet mesmerisingly beautiful Waheeda, whose face is marred by a scar.
Sanjeeda’s fee is 40 lakhs reportedly.
7) Fardeen Khan
Fardeen Khan is making a comeback to the silver screen after a long hiatus. He will be seen in a new avatar as Wali Mohammed.
He has been paid a handsome fee of 75 lakhs.
Heeramandi Release Date:
Arriving on Netflix on 1st May 2024.
