The Dunki actress tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Mathias on 23rd March in an intimate wedding ceremony in Udaipur.

As per HT report, the pre-wedding functions commenced on 20th March. Celebs like producer-writer Kanika Dhillon, Taapsee’s Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati and her Dobaraa director Anurag Kashyap were in attendance. Wedding pictures of the happy couple are yet to be revealed.
A source said – “The wedding took place in Udaipur and was an extremely intimate affair. The pre-wedding festivities kicked-started on March 20. The couple was very sure that they didn’t want any media attention on their big day. Both of them are known to be very private and reserved people, and they wouldn’t have had it any other way.”

Her wedding was devoid of too many Bollywood celebs as she preferred to keep it as tight-knit as possible. It was previously reported that the wedding ceremonies will be a blend of Sikh and Christian rituals.
Amidst their wedding rumours, Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe were spotted enjoying Holi celebrations with their friends.

Who Is Mathias Boe?
Born in Denmark, Mathias Boe is a former Badminton player. After making his international debut in 1998, he rose to the world No.1 position in doubles.
During his illustrious career, he has several notable achievements to his name including men’s doubles silver medal at 2012 Olympics in London, 2013 World Championship silver and the Danish 2016 Thomas Cup win.
After a 2-decade-long successful career, Mathias announced his retirement in 2020 at the age of 39. He is currently the men’s doubles coach for the Indian national badminton team.
How Did Taapsee & Mathias Meet?
Taapsee and Mathias have been in a relationship for over a decade now! She met him at a badminton match and reportedly calls her relationship a ‘no baggage, no burden’ one.
“I met him during a badminton match. I was a spectator and he was a player. We ended up chatting on Twitter a bit and then we met each other. Since then, it’s been stable, nice, happy, calm. No baggage, no burden relationship,” she said.
