The Dunki actress is rumoured to get married to her longtime boyfriend in March this year.
Rumours are rife, Taapsee Pannu-Mathias Boe, who have been in a relationship for more than a decade now, are getting married in a private ceremony in Udaipur in end-March 2024.
As per reports, the duo will take wedding vows as per Sikh and Christian rituals, reflecting their diverse culture and backgrounds.
Who Is Mathias Boe?
Born in Denmark, Mathias Boe is a former Badminton player. After making his international debut in 1998, he rose to the world No.1 position in doubles.
During his illustrious career, he has several notable achievements to his name including men’s doubles silver medal at 2012 Olympics in London, 2013 World Championship silver and the Danish 2016 Thomas Cup win.
Beside his Olympics and World Championships – Men’s double wins, Boe had also bagged the silver medal at the 2006 European Championships and won the titles at Denmark and French Opens in 2010 and the All England Open in 2011.
He also won the gold medal at the 2015 European Games and at the European Badminton Championships in 2012 and 2017.
After a 2-decade-long successful career, Mathias announcement his retirement in 2020 at the age of 39. He is currently the men’s doubles coach for the Indian national badminton team.
Boe is quite active on Instagram. He currently has 50.7k followers on the said photo sharing app.
How Did Taapsee & Mathias Meet?
Taapsee and Mathias have been in a relationship for over a decade now! She met him at a badminton match and reportedly calls her relationship a ‘no baggage, no burden’ one.
“I met him during a badminton match. I was a spectator and he was a player. We ended up chatting on Twitter a bit and then we met each other. Since then, it’s been stable, nice, happy, calm. No baggage, no burden relationship,” she said.
Taapsee and Mathias are quite open about their relationship. However, they have always remained quite lowkey when it comes to PDA.
