As per reports, in 1995, Mahesh Bhatt had spread the false news about Manisha Koirala’s death ahead of the release of his Criminal movie.
Bhatt had published a poster in the newspaper with the headline, “Manisha Koirala has died.” The rumor was spread to promote his film Criminal in which Manisha Koirala’s character dies. However, the film was widely appreciated and is to date one of the most loved movies. The popular song “Tum Mile Dil Khile” is from the movie Criminal.
Meanwhile, Poonam has received a lot of criticism for her act. She later released a statement on Instagram stating, “I feel compelled to share something significant with you all – I am here, alive.
