Storyline:
Top Indian Air Force pilots come together to form Air Dragons – an elite task force to combat terrorism in Srinagar. The unit is headed by Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky (Anil Kapoor). He has a bone to pick with Shamsher Pathania aka Patty (Hrithik Roshan) due to a bitter past connection.
While Patty is one of the superior fighters in the team, his arrogance and cockiness come in the way of his excellence. On the other hand, we have Minal Rathore aka Minni (Deepika Padukone) an ambitious girl who’s soaring high as an Air Force pilot despite her parent’s reluctance about the field.
Squadron Leader Sartaj Gill aka Taj (Karan Singh Grover) and Squadron Leader Basheer Khan aka Bash (Akshay Oberoi) complete this competent squad. Fighter revolves around the Air Dragons’ battle against the terrorist Azhar Akhtar (Rishabh Sawhney).

Fighter Movie Review:
After Pathaan, Siddharth Anand is back with a bang with Fighter. This film is a visually stunning, stylish action extravaganza! It is technically impressive with its masterful use of state-of-the-art CGI and real Sukhoi jets.
High on action and patriotism that rings true without turning into jingoism, Fighter is a decently engaging entertainer. While some of the subplots may be too predictable, they are acted with enough conviction by a stellar cast.
Fighter Movie Review:
Hrithik Roshan as the charismatic, cocky IAF pilot still looks like a Greek God. He’s equally intense and heartfelt in the dramatic moments and in top form in the action sequences.
Roshan shares a sizzling chemistry with Deepika Padukone. She plays Minni with charming grace and restraint. Padukone gets a meaty character to dig into with Fighter; a balance of action and glamour. Veteran Anil Kapoor as the tough, no-nonsense captain leads the cast with his wisdom.
Fighter Movie Review:
Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi give competent performances as the supporting cast. Rishabh Sawhney as terrorist Azhar Akhtar is menacing enough but ends up feeling like a caricaturish villain.
The background music of Fighter elevates the mood to another level. The soundtrack of this aerial actioner is quite good – Heer Aasmani and Mitti stand out in the playlist. The party track Sher Khul Gaye adds that extra pizzazz.

Worth watching in the theatre! Go catch the actioner flick in cinemas near you.
