Dulhania 3 and Deadly; Karan Johar clarifies about these films!
Rumours of Janhvi Kapoor replacing Alia Bhatt in the Dulhania franchise had gone viral recently. Moreover, reports of a new cinematic franchise called ‘Deadly’ were also doing rounds.

Dulhania 3 & Deadly?
It was being said that Tiger Shroff, Jahnvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan were roped in for Deadly – an Assassin Cinematic Universe. Deadly was reported to be directed by Raj Mehta, written by Anurag Kashyap, and produced by Karan Johar.

However, Karan Johar took to his Instagram recently to deny these rumours. He requested the media to not speculate about the continuation of a franchise or the beginning of another new one.
The official statement reads –
“Every morning I wake upto news that is not an official confirmation by Dharma productions… would request members of the media to please not conjecture about the continuance of a franchise or the beginning of one!
We will give details when the time and plans are formulated and fructified! We are humbled by the excitement shown to our future films but would love to have accuracy instead of speculation… Respectfully, Karan Johar.”
Upcoming Movies Of Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan & Tiger Shroff
Janhvi has an exciting line-up ahead of her as well. She has the pan-Indian film Devara opposite Jr NTR, Mr and Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao and Ulajh with Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew. She is also reportedly starring in a thriller with Sidharth Malhotra as well.
Varun will next be seen in Atlee’s Theri remake. He is set to collaborate with his father, David Dhawan, for the fourth time in an upcoming family-friendly, comedy film, scheduled to start filming in April 2024. He also has Citadel Indian spin-off with Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Tiger Shroff is soon to be seen in Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Singham Again.
