The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has set itself up for a sequel called Animal Park. An interesting update about the 2nd part recently hit headlines –
Animal Park: Malavika Mohanan Approached?
If the Filmfare report is to be believed, then director Sandeep Reddy Vanga met Malavika Mohanan at a party and was quite impressed. The buzz is that she might have been approached for Animal Park opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
The post-credits scene in Animal hinted at the possibility of a sequel – Animal Park. It showed Abrar’s brother Aziz aka the butcher (Ranbir Kapoor in a double role).
Animal Park Hinted At In Animal Post-Credits
For the unversed, Aziz has been altered via plastic surgery to resemble Ranvijay. His purpose is to masquerade as Ranvijay and kill Balbir and his family. The post-credits also hint at Zoya (Tripti Dimri) possibly being pregnant. A deranged Aziz tells her he’s excited to see if the child resembles him or Ranvijay, whom Zoya was sent to seduce.
Animal has crossed a whopping 737 crores at the global box office. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga film has turned out to be a polarizing movie indeed – with some hailing the problematic character while some are calling out the blatant misogyny.
Tripti Dimri Getting Famous After Animal
Tripti Dimri has been catapulted into the limelight and is being adored as the ‘Nation’s crush’ after her ‘Bhabhi 2’ part in Animal went viral. The actress has previously been seen in critically acclaimed films like Bulbbul and Qala. From 600k, her Instagram following has been boosted up to 3.5 million within the span of a few whirlwind days.
Animal had hit the theatres on 1st December 2023. As per reports, it will arrive on the OTT platform 45 to 60 days after its theatrical release. It is being rumoured that Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for this Sandeep Reddy Vanga film. The makers might possibly lock in the Sankranti week, January 14th or 15th for Animal’s Netflix release.
