Aashiqui 3: the Kartik Aaryan starrer has allegedly found its female lead in Tara Sutaria?
Tara Sutaria has been paired opposite Kartik if the latest reports are to be believed. The Aashiqui sequel is being helmed by Anurag Basu.

As per Filmfare report, Aashiqui 3 will kickstart its shooting from January 2024. Currently, it is in its pre-production stage.
Aashiqui 3 Female Lead:
Names like Jennifer Winget, Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon and Shraddha Kapoor were doing the rounds before on the Internet for the female lead of Aashiqui 3. But looks like Tara Sutaria has emerged as the winner.

Talking about Aashiqui 3, Kartik Aaryan had previously said – “The timeless classic ‘Aashiqui’ is something I grew up watching and working on ‘Aashiqui 3’ is like a dream come true. I feel privileged yet grateful collaborating with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt for this opportunity. I’ve been a big fan of Anurag Basu’s work and collaborating with him on this one will definitely shape me in many ways.”
The 1st film in the Aashiqui franchise was directed by Mahesh Bhatt, starring Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal in the lead. Its sequel – Aashiqui 2 featured the beloved jodi of Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. The Mohit Suri directorial crossed a whopping 109 crores at the box office. The soundtrack of Aashiqui 2 was an instant hit too.

Tara was last seen in Ek Villain Returns. She will next be starring in the upcoming thriller titled Apurva.
Kartik Aaryan Upcoming Movies:
Last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha, Kartik Aaryan has some interesting projects lined up ahead of him.
He has been locked in for the horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Kartik is working with Kabir Khan for Chandu Champion as well. It is reportedly based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, a freestyle swimmer and India’s first Paralympic gold medalist.
