Dono Trailer Out; Starring Rajveer Deol, Paloma

About Dono:

Dono Trailer dropped today with much fanfare starring Sunny Deol’s son Rajveer Deol and Poonam Dhillon’s daughter Paloma Dhillon in the lead roles. Both the star kids are making their grand debut in Bollywood with this romantic drama. It also marks the directorial debut of Avnish S. Barjatya, son of celebrated filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya!

Dono is a meet-cute love story, set against the backdrop of a lavish destination wedding! Dev (Rajveer Deol) – is the best friend of the bride, and he has been in love with her for 10 years. The heartbroken Dev runs into Meghna (Paloma) – who is a friend of the groom.

A strange camaraderie unfolds between the two strangers as they unveil each other’s bittersweet past. Will the two find love and solace in each other or go their separate ways after this eventful wedding gets over?

Release Date:

Dono will arrive in cinemas on 5th October 2023.

Dono is produced by the Barjatyas’ Rajshri Productions and Jio Studios. Sooraj serves as the Creative Producer on the film. The music is composed by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy. The title track of the film was launched two weeks ago by the OG Rajshri pair – Salman Khan and Bhagyashree.

Meanwhile, talking about Dono, Sunny Deol drew a parallel to Abhay Deol’s film Socha Na Tha!

“I want to say that there was a film I made, ‘Socha Na Tha, and this film (Dono) is nothing less that that or maybe more,” Sunny told TOI.

For the unversed, Sunny Deol and Poonam Dhillon have shared screen space in movies like Sohni Mahiwal, Samundar and Saveray Wali Gaadi. We can’t wait to see how the pairing of their kids fares on the big screen!

Sunny requested the media to not be hard on the kids while Poonam commented – “Times have become daunting for the new comers, especially when it comes to the interaction with the media.”
