Jimmy Shergill Netflix series Choona was initially supposed to be released in August but it was delayed later for unknown reasons and now they are back with a new date.
The makers have recently revealed the new release date of this Netflix original series Choona and the fans can’t hold onto their excitement.
As per reports, Netflix has announced on Instagram that Choona, starring Jimmy Shergill and Arshad Warsi will release on 29th September only on Netflix. Netflix captioned the post, “Mahurat badla lekin #Choona lagane ka iraada nahi badla! 🪐 Premieres on 29 September, only on Netflix!“
Apart from Arshad Warsi and Jimmy Shergill, the show also stars Aashim Gulati, Vikram Kochhar, Chandan Roy, Namit Das, Gyanendra Tripathi, Atul Srivastava, Monika Panwar and Niharika Lyra Dutt in pivotal roles.
Arshad Warsi and Jimmy Shergill started off their career together in the 1990s and have worked in some superhits so far. This is their second project together after starring in Munna Bhai MBBS.

For the unversed, Choona follows the story of a bunch of underdogs who try to settle their score with a powerful politician named Shukla Ji. In the release date announcement video, we get a glimpse of all these characters who are against Shukla Ji. Choona was first announced in 2021.
The show has been written and directed by Pushpendra Nath Misra and produced by Flying Saucer.
On the work front, Arshad Warsi was last seen in the 2022 action masala film Bachchan Pandey which starred Abhishek Bachchan and Jimmy Shergill on the other hand, was last seen in Aazam and Operation Mayfair.
