Alia Bhatt‘s recent statement on her husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor sparked a lot of criticism from fans.
She recently revealed that RK makes her ‘wipe off’ her lipstick as he likes her natural lip colour.
During Vogue’s latest beauty secrets video, Alia Bhatt showed her unusual way of applying her lipstick and then rubbing it off.
The Heart of Stone actress revealed that instead of moving the lipstick across her lips, she prefers to moving her lips across the lipstick. Explaining the reason behind wiping her lipstick, Alia said –
“After applying the lipstick, I rub it off because one thing my husband, who was also my boyfriend, when we go out at night, he’s like ‘wipe that off’ because he loves the natural colour of my lips.”
Soon after this, fans started slamming RK over his ‘wipe off’ statement.
Meanwhile, during her AMA session on Instagram, when she was asked “what’s a great way to deal with toxicity and criticism?”, she replied –
“Constructive criticism is the best way to grow. But words that are meant to hurt you can only hurt if you let them. No one can take you who are away from you… cultivate a life so full of love and gratitude that toxicity wouldn’t even reach you.”
Alia Bhatt recently made her big Bollywood debut with the Netflix movie Heart of Stone. She also received rave reviews for her portrayal of fierce reporter ‘Rani Chatterjee’ in Karan Johar’s movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor are reportedly in talks to play Sita-Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. She will also headline Vasan Bala’s upcoming action-thriller movie, produced by KJo.
