And now, we hear that Kriti Sanon has apparently slashed her fees due to the box office debacle of the movie.

Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is the modern day adaptation of the Hindu epic, Ramayana. The movie stars Prabhas as Raghav (Lord Ram), Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Ravana), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita), Sunny Singh as Lakshmana among others.
Sourced from a report, Kriti has decided to reduce her fees after Adipurush‘s box office failure. The actress was reportedly paid Rs 3 crores for her role in this movie.
Reportedly, Kriti has been facing a lot of ‘unnecessary’ backlash due to her portrayal. Amid the criticism, Kriti’s mom Geeta Sanon has shared a cryptic post and said that people shouldn’t judge but only see the person’s will on why they did what they did.

Sourced from a report, Kriti was charging Rs 7-8 crores after the success of Housefull 4. However, after the failure of Paanipat and Bachchhan Paandey, the actress reduced her fee to Rs 5 crores. She further charged Rs 4 crores for Bhediya which did an average business at the box office.
As per reports, Adipurush has been made on a massive budget of Rs 500 crores and the film is struggling in theatres as it is hardly earning Rs 2 crores in weekdays. According to a report, the film minted around Rs 279.78 crores in India in 12 days.
