Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is usually seen in a serious mode, is quite a lot of fun in this comic avatar. Neha Sharma too has a meaty role that allows her to show off her acting chops. The supporting cast has great comic timing and makes the film a light-hearted, family-friendly, time-pass watch!

Storyline:
Jogi Pratap (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is a wedding planner who ironically enough hates marriage and has vowed never to tie the knot. He’s quite the ‘Jugaadu‘ person in his family.
His life goes topsy-turvy when he’s hired to plan the wedding of the feisty Dimple Chaubey (Neha Sharma) – who had gatecrashed and created a ruckus at one of his past events. The flighty Dimple is engaged to the seedha-sadha but chomu Lallu (Mahaakshay Chakraborty).
Dimple begs Jogi for his help in breaking off the wedding and Jogi along with his sidekick comes up with one wacky plan after the other to sabotage the marriage. But their antics come back to bite him in the ass instead.
Throw in the adorably hilarious gangster Chacha Choudhary (Sanjay Mishra), 2 corrupt policemen and plenty of fake kidnappings and hilarity ensues! Watch Jogira Sara Ra Ra to see how it all unfolds…
What Do We Think:
Jogira Sara Ra Ra is quite an amusing ride from start to finish. Nawazuddin who’s usually in a serious avatar, lets himself loose here and has transitioned seamlessly into this goofy role. And he seems to be having a lot of fun with it.
Nawaz’s dynamic with his onscreen Mom Zarina Wahab and his family is quite heart-warming and a total laughter ride. The supporting cast is funny and everyone’s comic timing is really good. The banter is refreshing and flows smoothly and elicits chuckles. The hilarious one-liners and punchlines with desi tadka work well.
Nawaz-Neha are fine on their own but their romantic chemistry is lacking otherwise. Neha Sharma looks beautiful and has a meaty role as the bubbly, flighty rebel that allows her to show off her acting chops. Sanjay Mishra as the oldie Gangster is a hoot and is great in comic scenes!
Honestly, the actors elevate the material… half the time you’ll laugh even if the scene isn’t that funny just because the dialogue delivery is flawless. Some of the content is outdated and regressive though. And a few subplots are stretched past their welcome with the kidnappings being one too many. The songs don’t register much apart from being flashy distractions. But overall, Jogira Sara Ra Ra is a light-hearted, time-pass, family-friendly film that breezes by in 2 entertaining hours.
