What Do We Think?

Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga movie review

With a runtime of less than 2 hours, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga definitely keeps you hooked and intrigued till the very last minute. The movie has its own twists and tales with a few drawbacks too. While the first half is lil bland, the post-interval part is where the actual story unfolds and the second half compensates with its gripping storyline and major plot twists.

Director Ajay Singh has managed to bring out the tension and distress in the scenes where the passengers are being held, hostage. However, the hijack sequences might seem a bit stretched at times as the hijackers, most of the time, are doing nothing but screaming out loud and beating up Ankit.

Yami Gautam

Talking about performances, Yami Gautam as Neha steals the show. She shines in each and every scene. Her character arc is a revelation and the change in her expressions – from an emotional flight attendant to a sassy gal seeking revenge – is laudable. Sunny Kaushal, on the other hand, is convincing. Yami and Sunny look good but their onscreen chemistry lacks the spark.

Sharad Kelkar as RAW deputy Parvez Shaikh is a delight to watch. However, he could have had more scenes. Indraneil Sengupta does his part well in his limited scenes but he seems to be a wasted opportunity as he could have gotten much more to offer to the story.

HIT Or MISS?

In a nutshell, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is entertaining and will keep you glued to your screens till its end. The movie turns out to be an interesting heist-hijack thriller and is worth a one-time watch.
