Another great loss for the Hindi film industry!
Actor Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 on 8 March. He was visiting someone in Gurugram when he had a HEART ATTACK in the car.
Born on 13 April 1956 in Haryana, Kaushik went on to become a great actor, director, producer and writer in Bollywood. Did you know he is an alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India?
His career began in theatre and he’s starred in films like Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Ram Lakhan, Saajan Chale Sasural, Udta Punjab and more.
He has directed films like Tere Naam, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and Sridevi’s Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. He was much loved as Nawaab Jung Bahadur on The Great Indian Family Drama series on Sab.
He is survived by wife Shashi and his 10-year-old daughter Vanshika Kaushik (born via surrogacy in 2012). Satish had a son too – named Shanu but he tragically died at age 2!
Satish Kaushik’s body is currently at Fortis hospital and will be brought to Mumbai after the postmortem.
